The recipients of the John N. Lagerstrom Memorial Farm Credit Scholarship were awarded this past spring. The scholarships are awarded annually to students attending the University of Maine System institutions, with at least one recipient enrolled at the University of Maine at Presque Isle campus.

This year the availability of funds allowed each of the following recipients to receive a $1,000 scholarship:

• Julie Grahm Berry of Ashland, attending University of Maine, Presque Isle;
• Stacy Ayotte of Hamlin, attending Unviersity of Southern Maine;
• Tess Chamberland of Auburn, attending University of Maine Farmington;
• Erin Hews of Presque Isle, attending University of Maine Orono;
• Tiffany Lundeen of Mars Hill, attending University of Maine Orono;
• Seth Morton of Poland, attending University of Maine Orono.
  

The 2006 Farm Credit of Maine 4-H Scholarship of $1,000 was awarded to the following recipient:
